I cant believe the lovely rose man has died. I knew him for 4 years have been to Icmeler and always gave more flowers away than he sold. My sincere condolences to his family. Diane

Husnu was a lovely man. He was always giving roses to our girls.
He was a part of the magic that is Icmeler, and tragically, a small part of that magic is now gone.

R.I.P. Husnu.

Icmeler has lost a piece of its charm.
Always saw him around with his roses, making people smile. He was always welcomed into the bars by staff, a sure indication of the kind of person he was.
RIP.

Ok I know that donations really should be anonymous but I have just received a letter from Diane C from our forum and it just made me realise how close everyone is.

"Hi John,

Please find enclosed a cheque for £50 for Husnu's family, it's from my family to try and help his wife and kids.

He was a lovely guy and will be sorely missed.

Kind regards Diane"

Now I know that Diane has not long come home from a 3 week stint and will probably be trying to get things back to normal so Diane thank you from all of us at ICR and I will pass this into the office soon.

Sharon in Icmeler told me the other day that the lads at Vinces restaurant had donated the tip box also.

Hi Donna

I dont think its a tacky idea at all. I always think of Husnu when I see red roses. I think he must have given more away than he ever sold.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends

What a Rose can say

A rose can say I love you and want you to be mine,
A rose can say I thank you for being so very kind,
A rose can say congratulations, whatever the occasion may be,
A rose can say I miss you and wish you were here with me,
A rose can say I'm sorry if I've hurt you in any way,
A rose can say get well soon, May God bless you today,
A rose can say I wish you happiness, and the best for you each day.
A rose can say farewel when someone goes away,
A rose can say hello, I'm thinking of you today,
There's just so many wonderful things that a rose can say,
A rose can say goodbye when a love one is laid to rest,
No matter what there is to say, a rose can say it best.
