When the bus picks me up at my apartments to take me to the airport to go home, I really could cry! I hate going through Icmeler and then on through Marmaris, turning round to look out the window and seeing the lights disappear. It's the saddest thing.

Not a problem posting that but I am puzzled as I don't know what deek means and I have never heard of anyone in the resorts being pestered by homosexual men.

I think I would definitely have spotted any kids being annoyed by the male staff in the resorts.

The only times I have seen any pestering by homosexuals in the resorts it has been tourists trying to get to the resorts workers

are you sure it was not something you made up in your mind as a little kid maybe by being influenced of what you heard else where? I have never heard of such neither...I also dont know what deek means but from what i understand, you either dont know much of Turkish culture of man being very protective and caring of smaller children or you were really faced with an out of ordinary situation. The homosexual population in Turkey must be the lowest around in Europe as well. Will look into this further if I am debated.

What really annoys me is people going on and on and on about returning to Icmeler, especially as we wont be going this year.

Enjoy your holidays, but I secretly hope it rains.

For those like I who don't have any leg room on charter planes and want to stop the seats reclining the following has had considerable success.

As soon as you get in your seat move the airjet so it aims just at the back of the seat in front, make sure with your hand that it's not hitting the person in front, if the person reclines then they move the top of their head into the air stream themselves, they tend to move out of it.

In the past I have asked people in the past if they can put their seat up due to lack of room only to receive abuse on most occassions so I don't bother anymore. Once my youngest is 16 I will purchase extra leg room seats, at the moment most of these are exit only hence no one can use they under 16, my wife is a nervous flyer so I have to stay with her.

With regards to Hassel at the restaurants we just say no thankyou and keep walking.

Roll on July 20th

A good one for stopping the people in front of you reclining there seat back is to wedge your knees up against the seat then they cannot move theie seat back

I hate that too, when people put their seats back. It's only common courtesy to turn your head round & ask first.

I just push the seat back up most people take the hint.

Last year hubbies seat broke and he went flying back into the poor woman behind him. The two of them had to continue their journey like that as the plane was full, luckily she was very nice and we chatted most of the journey.

Oh Lynn, your poor husband! I bet he felt terrible. I normally slide down my seat so I can dig my knees into the seat in front if they start to bug. Normally works too! How awful am I?! :D

I dont really see the point in playing games with them about the seats back and forth heres how i see it

4 hour plane journey
your tired as hell (if your on a night flight)
you want to enjoy your flight for the amount you paid for it
if someones chair is squashing me i will turn round and tell them straight if they dont oblige to your polite request they could be using that belt to get wrapped around there suitcase and could be supping efes the next day through a straw!

But yeah i can very upfront i speak what im thinking and if its the truth my words come out faster than clint eastwoods bullets hehe

I got hassled a lot when we went to Icmeler market last year. Ive got a big bust and every man seemed to say the same thing "hello Jordan"!! In the end i snapped and shouted at one of them and he did apologise and shook my hand. But even some bar men were saying the same thing. I dont want to cover up on holiday but this year ive bought some quite conservative tops to try and take their eyes away from the one thing that attracts them!! But on the other hand im on my honeymoon and want to look good for my new husband so i may just flaunt it and put up with the Jordan comments :?
