Can someone tell me about this webcam wave thing please, when does it happen so I can watch out for someone doing it, also do you stand on that patch of grass to do it? I think if you stood in the middle of the road to do it you would get run over. Thanks. Julie. x

There will be a web cam wave next Saturday morning at 11 am English Time 1pm Turkey Time, when myselfe and family under protest will do an "Icmeler Wave".
I hope to get a lot more people to wave but for some reason everyone wants to sunbathe.

I`ve spent alot of time wathing the webcab over the week. Seen quite alot of waves.

We shall be stood by Harry`s Steakhouse on the corner waving to our family. Time and date to be arranged.

hey guys, bought an all singing, all dancing laptop (vista) last week and have been trying since then to view the web cam, but still to no avail. My wife, Julie W, has no problem on our old laptop so I suppose I could just lean over and watch hers but I hate being beaten by technology. Any suggestions?

I have no problem with XP but Vista is a nono

I have tried everything on Vista and just can't get it to work, yet same as Admin my XP laptop is fine

My web cam page is off line and when I put in julie w as my account name it says the account doesn't exist. Can anyone help? I don't want to miss gene's Icmeler wave on Saturday!

I saw it too! It really made my day as I've been watching the webcam for ages and have never seen anyone doing a wave before. Is it that it doesn't happen very often, or maybe I just need glasses? I'm sitting here in bleak Blackpool, where the rain is coming down in torrents, AND I've got a jumper on. Oh I wish I was there!

Pundit we can always have a whip round for a new pc to run the webcam if you fancy taking the hat around or you could wait until I take one out there next week and get the thing going again
