One for JT....
Don't know if you ever got a new thermometer after your last one melted but here's one I found that has a range of minus 50 to plus 70 degrees C.
If that melts we have a problem

I tried a more expensive one in 2011 and some days it said rain when it was 40 degrees so it went back to the UK

So did you get a new one yet or are you not going to do the weather reports anymore?

I didn't get one yet but at the moment there is really no need for it as weather today is same as yesterday, thick clouds with the sun breaking through for 5 minutes, very windy today compared to yesterday but from what I have heard a lot warmer than the UK

Yes I understand that, I was thinking more along the lines of when the weather picks up a bit, your daily weather reports always made my day (especially as it got closer to my hols). I always know it's going to be hot but always nice to hear it straight from the horses mouth (not that I'm calling you a horse John

)
