Who's going to be the first to get 2.9+ in the resort? That's what I would imagine it's going to be over the weekend 8)

Don't know if it's a straight forward request but can we have the exchange rate removed from the home page please, as it hasn't been updated for quite a while. Just a thought. Apologies if anyone else has already mentioned it. :)

Found a website on
http://www.x-rates.com/cgi-bin/hlookup.cgi
which gives the exchange rates on a particular day for any currency in the world if anyone's interested. It only gives the rate for the Lira from 29th December, 2008 though.

Hi Pauline, check out Marks and spencer , they have been kicking the Post Offices arse! If you have an account - online is good. If not, just go in store - just as good. :D Mark

We always check the rates on
http://travelmoney.moneysavingexpert.co ... y/#results

The rate for the post office though is lower if you don't order online. We've used ice and they're excellent. As well as this website we also check asda but their rate is different in store. For M&S, it's the same in store for Lira but not for some other currencies eg. euros. Another one suggested on this forum is travelfx. We've avoided them in the past because you have to do a bank transfer and we thought that there would be charges. Someone else mentioned on the forum that there's no charge for the bank transfer and you can also get them through Lloyd's bank. Not quite sure how this works but if there's no charge their rate is better than the others most of the time so it's worth considering.

I have just phoned the local Coop Travel and their rate is only 2.70 today!
Which Coop Travel in Northumberland did you get 2.79?
