I no longer buy clothes towels etc at the market, its simply just as cheap at home.

I do however buy fruit veg and spices from the market, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I am like you after years if doing the nmarket got fed up of it. Not as cheap as it was and the hassle is to much and the abuse you get when you have a look and walk away is totally uncalled for.
I don't even buy the fruit and veg as I got some peaches last year and got them back to the apartment and they were rotten.

I like Datca market,more locals there.Has anyone been to Mugla? i was told it is a good town to visit and the market is a lot cheaper and better than Icmeler...

we were in Icmeler for first time in september (loved it). Visited market and must say did find some of the stallholders to be extremely rude and pushy,we stopped to look at football tops at one stall, they guy started pulling several of them out of bags,then took exception when we told him we werent wanting them, followed us around for 5 mins shouting we were bad people, making him open things and not buying them! All very embarassing, we bought our tops from a nice man a few stalls away cheaper and with no hassle whatsoever!
Have to say did get some good bargains and some of the patter was very funny.

1 What was the best buys you have made at Icmeler Market.

Lacy Pram set. Bought 3 for £25. Sold two of them on Ebay for £20 each, and kept the one for our lttle un, and a bit a profit.

2 What is the worst buy you have ever made at Icmeler Market .

Loads. Worst was probably the Sex nuts, were absolute rubbish

3 When was the last time you brought some Turkish Delight back home.

May 08. Binned it in June 08.

4 Did you drink all of your Apple Tea or end up throwing most away.

Didn't drink 1 drop. Threw the lot away.
