hi everybody got back on friday had a fantastic time tried a lot of places for breakfast thought the gunnay was the best place we had breakfast but all the places we ate in were great value cant wait for next time
Yes I know what you mean Steve, I miss them too with breakfasts, not that I have breakfasts much. I love grilled fresh tomatoes, but I like them grilled for ages, not just slightly warm
Tried breakfast in several different restaurants and found them all to be pretty much the same ,nearly always 5L (£2) the ingredients alone cost almost that due to the high cost of bacon and sausage in turkey .the restaurants rely on the extras ordered ie tea and coffee - toast - fruit juice etc to make a profit ,our average bill for 2 breakfasts was approx 25L £10 still good value. Our favourite breakfast more due to the service and friendliness was the Moonlight (mehmet) and i also agree regarding the tomatoes they almost always come barely warmed through and i would prefer them far longer cooked.
Ah the Travelers Rest.was trying to remember that name. Is that the place that sells only english style food, If so I will put a review in the guestbook section.
