So how does anyone think Icmeler is going? The AI thing I mean.
Frankly, if it's going to go more and more down that route, more restaurants closing, and more of these pig headed people going there (Sorry, but that's mild compared to what many are saying), then methinks it's time to look for other places to holiday

I remember our post 2 year ago about the russian lady on our trip to olu deniz, she was over half hour late for the bus {probably due to the weight of her purse after attending to the Turkish fellas she attended to on our 4 hour stop}. The driver and guide refused to let her back on the bus and told her to get a jo baxi

My better half had to give a statement back in Marmaris that we had a lady touting for buisness on our bus. So this was two year ago now so I don't think it's any worse now. People blow things out of proportion, if you wanna hook up with a Russian girl then I guess if you're looking for it then there is no problem. If not then just go and enjoy yer Holiday

They were taking over the beach this week, demanding up to 9 beds together, we saw one russian lad take a towel off someones bed that had gone to lunch and steal their lounger, Ibo came and dragged it back. They are rude, arrogant and taking over from the germans as the number one holiday pest.

We stayed at the Munamar about 5 years ago and there were lots of Russians staying there.It is AI but we didnt have wristbands so it was up to the staff to remember faces.Unfortunately the Russians were hiding friends in their rooms and taking them down for meals so all of the rooms had to be checked regularly.They were very embarassing and would load their plates up and then leave the food after taking a few mouthfulls.Same with drinks they would have trays of them and leave most of them.The worst squirming event was when a Russian woman who was attractive, came into lunch wearing a thong bikini and stilletoes I kid you not!The head waiter had to go up to her and ask her to cover up.In fairness they have a lot of things to catch up on.They have only been allowed out of the country in recent years and they have a lot to learn.We ended up having a long chat with the bikini lady one evening when she came and asked us if we were english and told us all about herself.They really havent got a clue about the way that most of the educated world behaves....dont forget they had no religion for years and although I would not class myself as any religion our countries laws and most of our morals were based on christianity.Maybe they'll learn how to behave in a couple of hundred years but until then we will all have to take a stand when they are behaving in an unacceptable way,but that includes the Turks not giving in to them and charging them lower prices.

Sorry Juju but even under communism the Russians still had religion,the Russian Orthodox church. As for them being behind the rest of Europe in many things i don't think having bad manners should be excused, are you trying to say that they did'nt know how to behave just because they were communists, as a matter of fact it is nearly 20 years now since communism in Russia came to an end so theres no excuses.

It is not only Icmeler Turkey that is receiving this intake of Russian holiday people it is now increasing and spreading more noticably all over the popular places in the rest of Europe. Even further a field as far as Goa India and Thialand I have personaly experienced their recent freedom to travel first at a trickle but now in greater numbers.
This is only the start because remember including the rest of the old Soviet States there is alot more of them than us and once word gets out on the Ruskie equivalent of Icmeleronline more and more will herd into the resorts.
Only with the practice they have endured in standing in lines for bread and potatoes one would of thought they would of know how to conduct themselves in a reasonable manner.

Have these people never heard of queuing? Had a nightmare time with them last year on the hydrofoil to Rhodes which ended with my mrs launching one of them over the seats! Hurrying to get off just to get held up in the non EU passpot queue. Pointless!

My experience with people from russia is!!..They are always Russian to go here or there. I Moscow here I moscow there,, russian about the place all the time.
Russian here and there.
Apart from that I dont have a issue with them.
