The Holiday is in the same street as the Selen 2, Selam restaurant, etc. If you know where Tansas is - the street opposite has the Red Lion on the corner - walk down that street past the Selen 2 etc - it's further down, but on the same side.

Vinces has it all, visited this year after all the recommendations on here and was as everyone said. A must try if anyone has not been before, and like me you will return, now my favourite. Also a mention is for Champions , great food and excellent value for money. Paul.

I agree with Erik about the Loveboat, too clinical. Think the food is over-rated and over-priced, and not enough of it. When its busy the tables are so close together, maybe OK if you're in a crowd but when I went with my sister we were tagged on the end of someone else's table - not nice at all. Certainly wouldn't recommend it, there are better in Icmeler.

dotty, until last year Mrs weetoony could not be shifted from the Love Boat until she was presented with a fillet steak with next to no garnish and a couple of tattie crisps. We had to hunt down a poke of chips after we left to fill her up. Until she relents, it is totally bombed out.

As they say in Auld Reekie, "curtains on the windaes but nae sheets oan the bed" or in Glasgow, "fur coat and nae drawers". For our non-Scots, this is all show and no substance.

i always find the loveboat portions just a big as anywhere else
and if your not full it leaves some room for one of their lovely desserts :)
i would recommend the cheesecake or brownie :D

We liked the Loveboat, but as far as value for money is concerned, I think there are many more places in Icmeler which offer better value. My hubby and son thought the portions in the Loveboat were on the small side, to be honest, and a lot of other places do starters and desserts included in the price. It's a nice place, and we did enjoy the food, but I feel you can get a lot more for your money elsewhere.

it has to be Vince's as my No.1 then Cupids and the Romance.
BUT there are so many fabulous restaurants to choose from - although i have never been tempted to try the Loveboat in the 6 years i have been there. May give it a try this year though.

We've been visiting the Loveboat for the last 9 years. Went in June and found it to be far too Clinical. Food was still great, but no friendly chatter from any of the staff at all.and no friendly atmosphere. Was so disappointed, wont be going again and I never thought I'd hear myself say that. Bring back the good old days!!!!

WE have only had one meal at the Loveboat, food was nicely presented, but certainly not the best meal in Icmeler, very overpriced, and smaller portions than any where else, staff were very miserable, lots more better restaurants around.

The Selam has got it all very very good prices, food that is excellent & magic tricks with so many puzzles to try in-between courses

Also very relaxed feel about the place no hassle off Turgay or staff

Whilst Jimmys food is one of the best, I can't say that I find it great value, portion wise etc. I always end up having to order an extra portion of chips. Not that I complain as Jimmys chips are the best in Icmeler.

Whilst the Erdem Cafe on the beach front is in my opion the best value place to eat. Obviously it's not alacarte dining, but for cost, quality and portion size you cannot fault them.

We always go to Charleys next to Linekers, they are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them they will cook whatever you fancy even if its not on the menu! Their meals have generous proportions and you can change anything that you dont like for an alternative option, I dont like the veg that they tend to serve (green beans, broccoli etc) so i always ask for mushrooms and get a huge amount :) Would and do recomend it to anyone!!!

The first couple of years that we went to turkey i ended up flued up to the eyeballs so mum asked for a hot toddy (and explained what one was) as a result they made me hot toddys every night just to make me feel better.

The list could be endless really, but if its purely value for money for a well cooked and presented meal, I think Ozzys, Robin Hood and Kingsland are 3 of my favourites.
