Last year we flew with TC, and paid for the extera luggage as didn't want to get stung at Dalaman on the way back.
Didn't pay for the meals though, as they wanted an extra 13 quid or so, and our flight was at 9:30am and we always have brekkie in the airport, got on the plane and they served meals to everyone. result.

yeah sometimes your lucky if you get a meal and you didnt even pay for it
we have had that many times feel sorry for the people who did pay for them though cause they do charge a fortune for what you actually get
much better to buy something in the airport (after security control) and take it on the plane with you
