We never take towels with us, always buy them there as it really does save on the weight.

They're not too expensive to buy there and the quality always very good. Have to agree with other people and recommend you stick to the light coloured ones though...my hubby bought a blue one and no matter how many times I washed it, he was always cover in blue fluff.

If your anything like me, the weight you save on towels will be made up for in shoes
