hmmm, but from what Peli and the good half of those reviews say, it does look like the Alinda next to Havanna has turned a corner
really hope the efforts of the new owners/management pay off this year

hasn't this been renamed for this season i am sure , because when we were offered a hotel i didn't know the name , i looked into it and the alinda came up

as people have said , its true about the pool , but the beach is only a few mins walk
lots of going on's here , and i have actually seen people jumping from the balconies in to the pool at night before
if i had a choice , i would give it a miss, but it is a good location
depends on your choices and budget

The Alinda always seems to come up on teletext. I know a few people who have stayed there on late deals. All said that the rooms and the hotel were clean enough and the staff were good. But they all said that the food was not very good as it caters mainly for the Russian market.So they ate out every night.

Thank you all for your replies we had already booked and was going to change it but we decided not too. I think i will go with Peli on this one and give it a go. I did read somewhere that it had changed over but can't remember where . We go on the 11th june and looking forward to it we hope to come back with a 9/10 as ther is always room for improvement.
