Normally everyone comes here and we cook for about 12 Christmas day but this year have got it off. Going to the Sons for Christmas day and then down to Bristol Boxing day for as long as the daughter can keep father there (she wants us to stay for New Year but he's not happy at that) so at the moment its just the two of us at home for New Year with the Brandy.

I'm in training just now for the festive season! We have 6 for dinner then have a huge party for the extended family at night, with Christmas karaoke, quizzes, silly games etc. Then on Boxing Day we do it all again but with friends, don't usually cook a full dinner but make a curry (with the leftover turkey) and a buffet.

Have 5 days of preparation time for New Year, party time again starts around 10pm and goes on till everyone decides to leave which has sometimes been nearer 6am!!
