Ok guys having yet another blonde moment sorry Can't understand the make up question. Mine goes in the suitcase but i only wear it about twice a year

We use the holdalls with wheels and handles......they are much lighter than suitcases, so I can take more shoes with me They are also expandable, but we've never used them to the full.

Had them about 3 years now, and bought them in Matalan.... I think they were about £15 each. They don't weigh much to start with, and hubby balances them on his head while standing on the bathroom scales.

I stand corrected Gene, take less make up because you won't need much. Have just read the post again. Will be more careful Our soft fabric cases are much lighter than our rigid ones which is good with the weight allowances.

We always take soft bodied cases but this year will be different!! We have 2 soft bodied cases bought in Instore for £14 each great buy and also 2 trolley type holdalls bought in Argos half price £14 each! Thought we would try the holdalls to cut down on the weight also bought the Fishing type scales in argos for £5.99!! Sorted this year

Some of the hard bodied cases with wheels and handle weigh 5kg which is a third of your allowance gone before you start packing. Purchase a set of fishing scales and weigh the cases before you buy, they also come in handy when your packing to come home.

we're using Matalan set of 3 much lighter, still ok.
Had Tripp jhardbodied they are heavy without clothes in, plus Dalaman managed to put a big dent in one of them, they've now been dispatched to the car boot heaven.

I've got a bright yellow lightweight samsonite one that was in a sale for about £30. Its about 7 years old now, thats the best one, so light and is sturdy, it has a few scratches on it now, but is the best i've used.

we have the expandable, hard bodied cases and they are really durable, bog standard make up is ok as it is so hot you probably won't bother much until the evening.

I personally think the best best best suitcase you could possibly get....is a suitcase that actually holds stuff in it to get from A to B....

Bought hard bodied cases once cost well over £100 broke on there first trip sent them back and then bought a set in Savers £20 the set that was 4/5 years ago and still going strong.
