You guys are making me giggle
All UK mobile suppliers advise If going abroad get your number cleared for ROAMING
You will still be charge exorbient charges
Get a Phone card SO much cheaper

Hi John
I don't use the mobile to ring back home just really so that I can text my Mum and Sister a few times whilst over there to let them know we are ok and having a good time.
I totally agree with you I would not care to wish how much it would cost to ring back home from a mobile. We buy a phone card if we need to ring home soooooooo much cheaper.

Hi Mandy To clarify a bit, my phone, I use with my Turkish sim card so I don't get charged exorbitant roaming rates but my daughter had her English sim card in hers and I'm not sure if she notified Orange that she would be in Turkey.
