Club pleasure

Postby Trish » 01 May 2008 21:20

Don't do clubs at home, but Gene, you've sold it to me! The pole challenge was what did it  I've just got to visit now!, and the fact that they don't do foam parties is good, maybe its me, but I've been there and done it with foam parties and they just ruin your clothes!
Good luck to the club! x

Yea I agree with you Trish -- foam parties are fun but think Pleasure is better without it because when your going to get all foamy you have to wear clothes which you dont mind getting ruined.

Cant wait to hit Pleasure this summer (:

club pleasure

Postby Trish » 01 May 2008 22:09

Hi Miss Newcastle, I'm definately going to try it now that I know it's a foam free zone! glad it's not just me! was worried I'd sound like an old killjoy! I might be past me clubbin days here but am certainly not a killjoy so I look forward to going there :D I'm with Gene on the opinion of not wanting the night to end once you're out so sounds perfect to me

I'm only 17 so my clubbing days are only just beginning -- well I'm 2 years in but love Pleasure.

Love Bar Street in Marmaris as well though. Is it just me or do clubs in Turkey have a much better atmosphere than those in England?!

hi

Postby celine2002uk » 02 May 2008 05:09

My daughter is 18 and her friend and for the last two years i wouldnt let her go to bar street on a night. This year i said she can as we have met loads off young girls saying its fantastic and i bet it is its just me i worry but Club Pleasure sounds great im going to try and say go to Club Pleasure before she goes to Bar Street this year.
Only reason i worry is that we have seen young girls coming back to the hotel in the middle off the night some bearly able to stand up some who have had to have hospital treatment were there have stood on broken glass etc i know my daughter is sensible but theres always a but. Am i just been over protective? We stayed in Marmaris in April this year myself my daughter and her friend but it was Ultra A/I so bar didnt close and she didnt want to go out to bar street but we back in May only 4 star A/I and drinks stop at midnight so she is wanting to go to Bar Street this time
Myself and Hubby may even try Club Pleasure :D As we always go A/I we tend to stay in hotel and dont see the real night life but saying that we have only done A.I over the years because off the kids and grand kids there are all up now well kids are and this is the last year we taking grand kids as there is so many off them now :D cant afford to take them all  So we are going to start and holiday alone and try s/c which we have never done before and see the real turkey life :D Sorry for wafferling on its my age

It might be because I'm young and irresponsible but I go clubbing both in Turkey and here in England and I think that if a young girl is going to drink so she cant stand etc she will do it here as well so it doesnt really make much difference where the club is (: Bar street has a fab atmosphere and I always feel really safe and comfortable there -- much more comfortable than in clubs in England!

If any of that makes any sense at all ? :?

I head out to Icmeler next Monday (yay)...

Have been going for the past 6 years and never had any hassle in Bar Street, we tend to go with Turkish friends but again, have never seen any trouble. If your daughter is going tell her to go to B52, Mango and Joy -they are by far the best clubs!!!

Hi Celine

Not overprotective, just a loving Mum. Must say too that it's nice to see that she seems to listen to you!
My eldest 2 go to Pleasure a couple of nights of the hol and really don't fancy bar street cos the clubs there get so busy, like Marmaris generally compared to Icmeler - I've made sure they watch Police, Camera, Action from an early age ha ha. At least in Icmeler it's quieter and our restaurant owning friends send one of their lads with the girls to keep an eye on them

The same applies as over here I think ... the usual stay together, watch your drinks and what you drink - while we just cross everything we've got!
Seriously though, we agree a time they've to be in and they've always kept to it and it's never been as late as 4.00.

Your welcome Celine
The other bonus of Pleasure is that they'll only have to walk home and also will see lots of people they bump into during the days of their hol.
My girls were making friends during the day and arranging to meet up with them at Pleasure or HobNob beforehand - something that would be harder if they went to bar street
Am sure yours will have a ball wherever they end up

We're coming back to Icmeler in June (from 21st) and this time, we're also bringing my daughter's friend. Any suggestions as to where will be best for them to go out to at night - they're both 17?

They will find most of the bars entertaining till midnight.
Then Icmeler has a choice of two nightclubs both open till 4am,Eastenders and Pleasure or they may want to try Marmaris were the entertainment is on a bigger scale.

Cass entrance fee is not being charged at the moment, but this does not mean that in peak season an entrance fee wont be charged due to the demand and eastenders I understand may charge a fee in peak season.

hi everyone,
just to let yous all know i have been going to icmeler for the past six years and to be honest with you i would rather go to pleasure and eastenders than any of the nightclubs in marmaris. Although at one point didnt have much choice because pleasure and eastenders wernt there at 1st so we had to go to marmaris. All i will say is that pleasure and eastenders have a much better atmosphere than any marmaris nightclub they make you feel welcome night after night like your an old friend. Its well good and well recommended plus girls dont worry the security are fantastic guys keep you well looked after!! :) :D :D :D :D :D :D
