Geordie, I cant be doing with all that. It has its purpose I suppose but i prefer to visit or talk to people. Also, too much nastiness and rubbish on these sites. Its amazing though how many people are addicted to them, and i mean addicted. My commute is awful, and that's mostly adults.

Hey guys landed this afternoon & to be honest my impression from the Marmaris road to the centre of Icmeler was 'building site'. So many outlets under going changes or just not open. That said I had a lovely meal at the Lighthouse tonight & more places are set to open this week. Will report more as the week progresses

Weather is glorious 31 yesterday & 33 at 10:50 this morning according to the boards in the centre.
More & more businesses are opening as the days pass and the resort is coming more to life

Latest change has seen Bamboo at the top of the canal go - site has been cleared altogether

Most businesses I can see just have cosmetic things left to do. For example wonder bar opens tomorrow & their in there tonight replacing lights & laying out tables. They tested the sound system as I walked by last night & all sounded well. Cupids, Bonjour & Champagnes have all opened this week to name a few.

Thanks Chezza, eldest Son is away 2 weeks today with his GF and Wonder Bar is a favourite of theirs

We went in there with everyone last September after our 'ICR Members' meet up Meal and I was nearly apprehended by a Dutch Shot Putter ... She was rather scary and was determined to get me Dancing! Lol ... Mrs G wasn't impressed ... But when you've got that magnetism like me it can't be helped! Lmao

Tandoori sizzler unfortunately isn't looking good, it's boarded up with table & chairs stacked outside but there is sign of life.
Just 1 thing I noticed tonight many places have moved their signs: Vinces, cafe Anne's & Richards place have moved them back from the paths. Suppose it's to do with the new roof laws.

Ha ha ... I'm okay and only wake up with a cold sweat every 3 months or so nowadays

Funny memories tho and just a shame it's only 1 visit for us this year and we'll miss 'ICR Meet Part II'

Tandoori not looking good then and doubt it'll be open ... Wonder how much Mico & Abraham knew about it when they arrived from Istanbul?? ... Probably none, like many others .....

Anyone know if the red lion, opposite side of road to Tanzas is still open. Just read on another site that it's gone. Seems to be confusion over whether it's gone or they are just doing the roof part. Any update would be appreciated please.

I did see that the Red Lion wasn't open yet - not sure if it is going to reopened. I did see that there was work being done to Ugra and Sofra just next door. As far as I'm concerned it would be no loss whatsoever if the Red Lion never reopened - it's the one place I would never set foot in again in Icmeler, and funnily enough, in a similar discussion on Facebook the other day, the vast majority of people who commented were of the same opinion. Never seen so many people say they actually cross the road to avoid a place!

Just to let you all know Scotia Bar has moved to where old Linekers use to be, opposite Miray hotel/Blondies, and not at Geordie Bar.

Tandorri Sizzler will be open sometime next week as just waiting on new roof arriving.
