people are to blame for creating the mess & the council is trying to play catch up.
Personally I think it's people much more than the council that are at fault.

To reiterate, it's people not the council who create the mess.

I did notice there was more rubbish, especially down the dry canal which is not nice to see, especially when taking friends who have not been before. Though, I have to also add that the bins were emptied on a daily basis outside Rhodes Apartments and sometimes even twice a day, which can't be a nice job in the heat. Lets hope that people maybe start being more cautious with their rubbish if it is becoming more noticeable. After spending so much time paving the lovely roads through the winter months, it seems a shame to spoil it all with rubbish lying around. No further trips for me to Icmeler this year but I am sure to be back next year, at least once. Lets hope a good clear up takes place over the winter.
