Safety deposit boxes.

Hi ,does anybody know where they are situated in the Majestic Apts? e.g bedroom , lobby etc, at our last place there was a safe in the wardrobe.

Unless it's changed from last August when we stayed there, all of the apartments in both blocks have a pool view as far as I know. We stayed in the block nearest to the bar and the apartment ran from front to back of the building - there was a balcony overlooking the pool off the living room/kitchen and another balcony overlooking the back, off the bedroom, but the door was locked and it didn't look like it had been opened for a while - not that it was a problem.
No idea who owns the apartments or whether they are rented by the Majestic team. I believe they have been running the aparts for the past few years and it looks like they've merged what would perhaps formerly have been 2 separate accomodations and run them as one now. Whatever they were called before, the lads have definitely put their own stamp on the place and it was great - turkish night was really good and the food they serve is good too.

Hiya, will certainly give you an update. We have been going to Icmeler since 1997 and never stayed same place twice until now. We stayed at the apartments last year and had a fantastic holiday. They are a bit far out which did worry us before we got there but the road to town is flat and only took us a 10 - 15 min walk if we took it slowly. Wouldn't want to have done that walk during the heat of the day but the dolmus stops right outside. We have 4 kids who managed the walk without moaning which is a miracle in itself!
The apartments are rented by Ali the owner of Majestic Restaurant and I think if I am not mistaken if you eat at the restaurant you get a discount if you are staying at the apartments. They also arranged a minibus to take us to town when we were eating at the restaurant and reserved a table for us most nights and as we were part of a group of 13 it made life easier. I cant remember what the apartments were called before. The rooms are all pool view. I remember the manager Hasan telling us both blocks had a pool view. Our room had a balcony back and front so we could dry our clothes at the back of the apartment whilst sitting out the front overlooking pool. There are two pools one has a slide and one is just a normal pool. They also had a really good Turkish night with the same entertainment from the restaurant. We normally do one Turkish night during the holiday but ended up at both nights that were on during our stay.
I am so excited, I just hope it is as good as last year.
