Yeah Paul has confirmed that it is closing but to clarify it, someone posted pics on another web page that it was being gutted but didnt really confirm much, so thanks to paul taking the time out to confirm with the actual owner

You could get fish and chips from ANY restaurant in Icmeler but would not taste like what we in the UK class as "fish and chips"

That is except for the only place that now has a "proper" chippy deep fat fryer and that is Christines Friar Tucks across the road from the Babadan hotel

Friar Tucks is the place I go when I fancy fish and chips or even one of her home made pies or cakes

Must agree with JT there, visited a few times last year and the fish and chips were excellent ive had worse in the uk.

Me too, staying at Avlu1 in a few weeks time so will definitely be visiting Christines a few times!
