What is the one thing which makes Icmeler so special for you

I wish you could bottle it and fetch it home, what ever IT is. I think for me it is a mixture of things, the genuine warmth and friendliness of the locals,the trust they have in us as tourists, the setting with the sea and beach in the cove with the hills as the backdrop, or just the relaxed atmosphere which puts us at ease and therefore you can feel safe and secure no matter what time of day or night. Oh and one other thing ( i know the title says one thing! ) we have met some fantastic folk over the years who we still keep in touch with and still see when we come to Icmeler every year, and who i call true friends.

where do you start..to many to name..friendly locals,sun,beach..friends we have made over the years comming to icmeler..i think what does it for me is the way people go out there way to make you feel welcome to there country..will be back this year but in mid aug instead of sept..cant wait.

Icmeler has it's own special magic. It's not like anywhere else I know. That, and the fact I know more people in Icmeler than I do in my home town. I can't walk 100 meters without meeting a friend.

I dont think there is one thing I can pinpoint.

From the first time we holidayed there in 2004 to now, there is just "Something" that draws us back time and again.

Everywhere else we have been (Florida excluded) just cannot stack up for a return visit like Icmeler.

This year I really wanted to try somewhere else, but everywhere we looked, that was family friendly and in the same price bracket just didn't cut it, so back to Icmeler we go, and I can tell you I am really looking forward to it.

Why do we keep going back to Icmeler?

Is it the feeling of belonging?
Loving a culture different to ours?
The Magnificent scenery?
A love of the food be it Turkish or International?
The nightlife,the Karaoke,Dance Bars,the Theme Shows or a Quite Drink?
The trips out on the boats,jeep safari,horse riding or the watersports?
The sun,sea and sands?
The friendliness of the people.

I have my reasons, and can list all the above as being a part of my repeat visits but the main reason I think is.
