Most of us understand the ill feeling towards a certain newspaper and why, but i am not sure that the original poster (or janeypoos) would have mentioned the newspaper by name if they thought that it would cause offence. After all, this is an Icmeler forum and they were only remarking on something that happened "recently" in "Icmeler".I too hope that the lady who was injured makes a full recovery and that it does not happen to anybody else who is basically on holiday and trying to have fun. Mark.

Thanks for that Mark :-)
To be honest I have an opinion on this thread and there's things I'd like to say but I'm fed up of walking on egg shells! I've not been a forum member for very long and I obviously don't know all the Do's and Don'ts but I certainly seem to be finding out more Don'ts, lol!
I've decided to keep my mouth shut as much as I can, that way I can't offend anyone.

Mark I am allowed along with other people to reflect my feelings on what I see fit

If you look at the original post you will see the offending rag is mentioned there and I did not take that away but when a link to that offending rag is mentioned on my forum then yes that will be deleted.

Janey you have no need to be walking in eggshells, you are welcome here and we relish your enthusiasm for icmeler ( I hope you feel the same way when you return  ) same goes for Sue

Again I hope the lady gets well and yes I too was thinking ringo's as the lads in the boat do whip you around at some speed so if a biggun is flying at a little un then yes there will be pain

Hi, I am the original poster and I certainly did not want to cause a big stir about the mentioned newspaper, As Mark stated I was merely pointing something out that I had just noticed and as it had happened in Icmeler, thought I would mention it.

Barnie, the removal of the link was not the issue. I just thought that it could have been approached without causing offence to anybody that had mentioned it in innocence.Like J.T says, its his forum and i am sure he wants to see fair and equal posting.Mark

If this is the case JT why was my post removed about giving people a heads up on fake money???
Surely this forum is about giving people the best advice possible to enjoy their holiday, not deleting the bits you don't want people to see!!!!
Surely to make this a fair forum everything should be allowed, within reason, to say what they think will help people, so as people can have the best experience???
I would have put on my Wednesday Market thread about some of the things on sale that were truely shocking, but I didn't, as sadly I knew it would have been deleted, as unless it's a positive reflection on icmeler it seems to get deleted!!!

Chris I read your post and it hasn't been deleted maybe it's been moved to another thread or it is where your original post was placed. Not sure if you're talking about the same post but if it is it's in the General help.
It is very informative and helps us keep on our guard thanks
oh and ps I hope the lady is on the mend too x

Chris I would have a good look around or even use the forum properly before you start shouting at the person who looks after the day to day running of the forum namely me

Click on your name on the forum then when the next page opens look on the right side of the page, under user statistics look for Search user posts and click on that

Now trawl through that to find ALL the posts that you have made.

Maybe you should do some more reporting from the resort for us by all means and nothing will be deleted.

For your information the posts that do get deleted are advertising of other companies that offer the same or similar to us, porn (which I am sick of doing), spamming in general and the worst one of all general gossip of bars, owners or lads that work there in Turkey because though you or other people may post them, believe me it will be one of us that gets the backlash for it.

Pleaseby all means go to the market and report back on anything you fancy be it flick knives, stun guns, knuckle dusters or anything you care to report on and if it comes under a category of what I think is a General Holiday Tip and Advice then I will move it to there.

I hope you now understand

Enjoy the rest of your holiday

p.s

If you do see something that you think is illegal or very dangerous then why don't you go to this website here http://www.icmeler.bel.tr/ and drop a line to the Mayor or the council who I am sure would be only too eager to hear of any wrong doing in the town.

By the way

This has now gone well off topic so please do not post anything else in here unless it has something to do with the well being of the lady who had the accident in Icmeler
