There you go http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... 8e86a260a2 Temel kofte isn't on the map, but is between the Main Tansas and the Wedsnesday market.

The lentil soup and his special fried liver are to die for not to mention the beef caserole with mash.

The toilets are spotless.

Thank you all so much for your replies and recommendations. I will be making note of these and look forward to some excellent meals.
On a slightly different subject(might have to start new topic), does anyone know of any nice internet cafes where myself and the other half can sit and relax with an efes while our 2 hormonal girls get their facebook fix for half an hour or so :D

we decided to put names of restaurants in a hat and pull one out every night so that we could try different places this year instead of going to the same place. We gave them all marks out of 10 and our top marks went to Hanedan where the food and service were fantastic, the mezes alone were like a meal, this was also joined in first place by the restaurant in the Club Sun Village apartments for an unbeatable steak! These were closely followed by Venice and Lighthouse (the best fillet ever). Sorry to say that Tommys came out bottom of our league but just goes to show that everyone has different tastes. You need to try lots and decide what you like best.

There are so many places to choose from but our personal favourite is Love Star in the Old Village (across from the Wembley Bar). Excellent food at excellent prices.

We also enjoyed Hanedan as well.

What's a good place to eat for a nice birthday meal, treating my dad for his birthday and would like possibly do a cake and everything but not sure of a good place, we're going in October so I know a few places will be closed as well.
