John V the point is the only bottles avail are imported bottles though. Their main lager is not Efes like most places it is draught Carlsberg thats all we are saying

The original entry by bitzy was only to say that they had been charged a high cost for 5 bottles of Beer nothing else than posting a Beware Notice.
I am not doubting the Bar is not suitable or that there is a regular occurrence to over charge.

by all means visit this bar but dont buy bottled beer,i could,nt believe it myself till the missus showed me the bill

We were in linekers last week and the week before and i was drinking bottles of carlsberg as im not a lover of efes,have to say i didnt look at the price but it didnt seem over priced,the music was a lot better a few years ago but still not bad at getting the feet shuffling

5Tl for a Carlsberg seems quite reasonable for what is in effect an imported beer - well played to the bar for getting a mass buy discount and passing it on to their customers.

Another point to remember is that most Icmeler bars DO display their price lists so that you know what the price is going to be when you calculate your drinks bill.

In 12 years of varied Turkish holiday travel, I think I've only had to question a bar bill once, and I had made the mistake !

Any deliberate cheating could easily result in a bar being shut down by the local mayor and police - with huge financial consequences.
