oh yeah iwould run away... seriously

Just imagine the money you would have available to spend at the Jewellers as you won't have to spend a penny feeding or watering the OH.

There again if the passport does arrive which I hope it does make him buy you some jewellry anyway for the stress he has caused you.

Haha feed him?? what i have to damn if he comes i was just gonna let him fend for himself... now wait he'd die of starvation being incapable of ordering much less cooking food...

ive told him already he owes me something shiny and gold to make up for this...

My son's passport also came today, damn, means I have to take him now :)

Like the idea of hiding it in the drawer.

hahaha i was thinking of keeping it till the morning we go... because he will never ring and check for himself.. and he totally deserves it after scaring me like this.... every morning when he come home i get

Him: "hey babe, love you.... is it here yet?"
Me: "no, but im thinking 2 weeks alone without you sounds amazing"
Him: "oh dont say that im sorry you know that right!"
Me: "mmhmm you cant help being thick I know that"

Cue sad little sigh and off he goes to make a coffee ... not to evil of me i dont think....

So funny this and I can see your point, but me being the softy is actually feeling sorry for him now. I'd be letting him know its arrived - but still make him squirm a lot and know its going to cost him. lol

Enjoy your jollies when you get there.

I'm so pleased the passport has arrived in time BUT you really should keep the good news to yourself for a little bit longer - make him feel the pain like you suffered at the start of this little episode. I would definitely not tell my OH until the morning of departure but then I'm known for being "evil" when someone's upset me! Enjoy your holidays and milk it for all the bling, handbags, shoes, Efes, etc. that you can!

I think you will be ok. I've just renewed my daughter's passport and it came back in a week. I think they are turning them around much quicker this year. Probably due to the credit chrunch.

So, once your OH has had his interview, you should get it quite quickly. I think they just quote the six week figure to cover their arses. I probably makes them feel important as well, as they know how much is resting on you getting his passport.

Good luck!
