We enjoyed the Golden Moon (on the square beside the cash machines), it was lovely and quiet, no boom boom music at 10pm or anything. Food excellent too.

I must say that Ozzy's is the best for food and for service nothing is too much trouble for them.

New to the forum. :)

I was in Icmeler in May with 4 friends and we really loved the food in the Loveboat - it was just that extra bit special.

We also loved the food in the Romance Palace and in Richard's Place - their Anatolian Special was just heavenly.

As myself and a friend are going back to Icmeler in 5 weeks time (not that I'm counting the days, you understand  ) this thread has given me some other places to choose from.

Thanks. :)

we loved the golden moon last year and the maestro (Was it just us who enjoyed these places? cos nobody seems to give them a mention.)

me and the other half are off to icmeler next friday and our first stop will be the love boat. IS THIS A GOOD CHOICE? ANY OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS WOULD BE GRATEFULLY RECEIVED.

The Maestro
Is to me and wife our favourite, good food, top class respectful service, without anyone prancing about, they have the bar next door for noise and dancing, can seriusly recomend it for a nice meal in a nice relaxing atmosphere the staff are there to look after you ,not dance, and are top class we have used it dozens of times over the years

Hi

I do recomend The Red Lion Bar and restaurant.
They have everything in the place. All kind of food during the day and fantastic shows in the evening. I spend all my evenings there......

We had a few favourites this year. Tried a new one called cupid that was very nice. Also enjoyed the Artemis, mandalin and the venice. Artemis did very good lamb shank and had the best pasta ever. Very reasonably priced as well.

has to be the Wayside for us. Hamedi, Ozcan,Rachael and Louise own and run a superb restaurant. Service is superb and when there last week was very busy. It has only been running for 3 years but already has a good customer base.

just got back and have to mention that we tried the Red Lion after recommendations on here (the one opposite Tansas)
the food was awful - so much so that we refused to pay for it and that was a first for us in over 7 years of going to Icmeler

our favorite places though are.......
Bullshits, Harmony, Selam and Venice

I've heard good things about Ozzys too - can anyone tell me exactly where it is - say in relation to where the Lighthouse is?

Cheers

Mazz
if you walk from lighthouse and head up that main road towards old village keep walking up to the crossroads with traffic lights and ozzys is on that corner along with mr chef and the lovestar
hope this helps :)

I have a different favourite each night, because it's a case of a bit of what you fancy is perfect in Icmeler! It caters for everything, so, for example, first night we arrived 2.30am, and had kebeab at osmans near Linekers, divine!, we had fantastic steaks at Charly's, also by linekers the next night, Set restuarant was scrumptious, onion rings to die for! then there was the Lighthouse, Jasmin which was fabulous quality and charming owner and staff, for breakfast and a couple of evening meals, (before the irish bar struck up it's LOUD MUSIC! ) sorry, but have to get that in, because it's excessive, eventhough I quite like what they do. It doesn't need to be so loud.

Linekers beach bar baguettes are delicious!! :D

Not a very decisive reply to the thread, but it's so difficult to pinpoint just one.

we , seem to stick to the same few , as a family of 7 visiting twice a year , but i am going to have a look at the wayside , after really good reviews on here , our new one for september :D
really like mandalin , had a really nice meal in the pyramid , chef, titanic, also very nice
what we tend to do on a personal note , as we quickly get stuffed by big meals after a few nights
is mix it in with the erdem cafe on the beach front .their chicken plate is to die for also lamb doner plate , well , everything there really , and such beautiful tomato soup , no where better in icmeler !!!!!
and a lovely feta salad , nice bottle of wine , looking over the lighs on the ocean .......heaven
roll on 3 weeks ,
the only thing i will always do now is , if any meal out of the party is bad , and it has happened on a few occasions .......i will tell them , its not cheap now like it used to be . but thats only ever ben about 3 times out of 7 meals over 14 days , so musn't grumble :D
