"Around Icmeler" map

Postby pdbartlett » 29 Jul 2008 21:18

Merhaba!

I've started a map of places around Icmeler, to try to help people make the most of all the recommendations and great advice here on the forums:

Google Map of Places in Icmeler Click Here To See It

Hopefully everyone should be able to edit it, but if anyone is having any problems just let me know!

Currently I've colour-coded bars/restaurants as blue and hotels as red, and have only gotten around to putting a few of our favourites on. I'll try to add more as time permits, but it'd be great if people could start adding their own favourites.

Hope it's of some use...

- Paul.

Rose Cafe

Postby Twotone » 30 Jul 2008 11:25

Hi

At the risk of starting a stream of requests for particular venue locations, I wondered if someone could spot the Rose Cafe on the map for us.

It seems to get great reviews and we would like to check it out when we visit.

Many thanks.

Hi admin,

It's not new, but I may have the location slightly wrong. It's on runs the length of a small side street, off the road behind the Marti. It's definitely near some apartments but I don't recall off-hand which. I'll zoom in and see if I can get it any closer, but I suspect it's accurate enough that someone could find it.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look :)

- Paul.

I've added Harmony but don't think it's saved it. It shows up when I view the map from my account.

Thanks Dave :D

And thanks in advance to anyone else who does likewise -- it'll be a bit silly if every other post on the thread was me saying "Thank you"!

Just added a load more aswell. It's looking good.

Thanks for that paul.

Also now if anyone asks the members to give them directions we can just add it to the map if it's not already there.

hi admin,

you have to register with google first, once you have done that and sign back in click collaborate and then click on edit. Next click and drag on the pin/balloon and move to the position you want.Once it is set you can then change the colour by double clicking balloon and edit window and clicking on the balloon in the top right corner (open up another edit window)
Hope this helps
