I have received my e ticket but I am wondering when I turn up at the airport next Tuesday if this will be ok. Has this happend to anyone else as I really don't know who to contact to find out.

Hi Welshdoll3
You need to contact the airline direct they will tell you if you are still able to fly it will depend on if they have recived their money for your flights

Hi welshdoll, if they are just a travel agent then I would think that you would be ok, but if they are your carrier then you might have a problem. I'm assuming they are just an agent.

As long as you have your e-ticket you should be fine.

Hi
This happened to us last September. Although we had our e-tickets we were told we couldn't fly as the airline had not been paid for the flights. This happened 6 hours before we were due to be at the airport and as you can imagine we were devestated. We ended up having to book new flights with the same airline and had to pay in full again, but we did receive a full refund about 6 weeks after we returned home because we had paid our flights by Visa. Please dont just turn up at the airport, check first as you could be left without flights.
Hope this helps.

Hi welshdoll3,
You must be worrying like mad, here is a link to tell you what steps to take. Hope you get sorted in time.
Look at page 13 of the pdf document in
http://www.abta.com/consumer-services. That may be the way to go.
Good luck and hope you get "home"

thanks to everyone for you concern and advice I am still in Limbo at the moment because it is Sunday and there isn't anyone open for me to contact. I purchased the flights through Skybargains but my E ticket has come through from Holidays 4U and flying with Onur Air.

Welshdoll have you tried contacting Onur (aegean) to see if they have you on their flight? Also there is a thread on Skybargains on holiday truths website which might shed some more light for you. Hope it is all worked out and you will be on your way soon

Hi welshdoll....I would of thought that if you've got you e-ticket your flight would have been paid for otherwise they would not of sent it to you. Do contact Holidays 4U and if you get no joy try Aegean flights, I'm almost certain they are the same company but trade under different names. Good luck and hope to see you at the Captain Silver
