What time

We like to fly about 7.30 in the morning even though it means us leaving our house about 3.30am.
When the minibus picks us up all the streets are so deserted, its like everything is new and exciting
I would hate to have to wait all day for a night flight.
What time do others like to leave for their hols and why?

I'd prefer morning flight - least you can have a nights sleep before getting on the plane and get a good nights sleep the first night.

Sharn't be able to sleep on the plane either, I'll be all mithered up I'll snore and show myself up Won't get to resort until 7am (ish) so will be knackered when we get there and no doubt want to get our heads down for a few hours to recharge our batteries. Failing that could always try and kip lying on a sun bed round the pool

I quite like a morning flight too, although it kills me to get out of bed, I feel like just turning over sometimes (i'm not a morning person) even though I'm going to Icmeler!!!! Quite like arriving mid afternoon, as you can get your head down for a few hours before having a nice meal on your first night and exploring everything thats new. Flying out at 3.15pm this year, all being well should arrive at resort about midnight, enough time for a stop at the soup kitchen for a cheeky kebab and efes!!!!

We fly out at 2.20pm this time. At least we can get a good nights sleep beforehand and another when we get there. I once got a flight that got us to the apartments at about 4am and I sat and watched the sun come up on the balcony when we got there, which was a fantastic sight and one I wouldn't see again (because it was too early) whilst I was there.

We fly at 8-30pm and will not get to resort untill stupid o'clock in the morning, i hate flying late as you miss so much of the sights of Turkey as you travel from the airport.

I'd love a day flight. Unfortunately all the best deals flying from Manchester are always arriving or leaving at daft o clock in the morning. This October will be the first time in 17 years I will arrive in Turkey in daylight, just hope there's no delays

Always said I wouldnt do a night flight again,but nowdays its all down to cost for us.Very good flying out 9.am,but comming back,depart 06.30,so no sleep that night!! Hey but the price was right,so Im not really complaining!!.

Quite like night-flights. 3 hrs. kip on the 'plane, 1 1/2 hrs kip on the transfer, into the resort with enough time to unpack, then have breakfast (Turkish for me ). Then it's off for the day to have a look round. Afternoon round the pool (2 hrs. kip). Just right for the evening out. No problems

Flights from my local airport Humberside are good flying out about 10am so arrive in resort about 7pm but coming back you land about 9am so leave resort about 1/half1 in the morning!!
I slept most of the way coming home in May had 2 seats to myself on the coach so went to sleep the whole way there and the flight was nearly empty coming back so had 3 seats to go to sleep on.Wish it was like that all the time!!

we usually fly out of Glasgow at 4.15pm which means we're in Icmeler around midnight. However this year we managed to get an earlier flight. 3.25pm
Anyway, after a whole day of travelling (leave home at 9am) I'm fit for one drink after unpacking, get a great first nights sleep and start the holiday on a fresh day.

We always try and get day flights out and return our Flight tomes this year are excellent we leave at 7am in the morning and should arrive in Icmeler around 3 to 4pm and our return Flights leave at 2.30pm we had to pay extra for the day flights but after our last visit to Icmeler the flight took off at 3pm but didn't get to Icmeler until 2am and our return flight was 7am so had to get our transfer at 3am never again.

we have always done day flights, this year we fly at 7am, its usually around that time..

although last year we had a large delay, so didnt fly home until 11pm, and the children said they prefered the night flight

Morning flight is my preference, but this year I have a 2:30 afternoon flight, which is nice and coming home I arrive at 1am, so not too bad. Could have been worse.

we leave cardiff at 2.15 in the afternoon so will probably have an evening transfer just wondering what time the sun goes down as we like to take in the surroundings on the transfer but i think it will be daek during our transfer.Just hope we can get a drink in and maybe a quick meal then a few more drinks lol

take off for 20.45 so should be at hotel around 5ish at the latest then enough time for a keep until 9am and then late breakfast followed by a day of lounging by the pool- bliss! x

I prefer a morning flight about 7am. But the Night flights are usually always cheapest, we areflying at 7pm, it was supposed to be 11.55pm, but thankfully that flight has been cancelled and we were put on the earlier flight.

Going to Turkey I reckon night flight is the best.

Get to the airport without a rush then a have a few drinks and a kip on the plane and you are sorted as I get up very early anyway.

A day flight coming home is nice.

my favourite is a morning / day flight.finish a night shift early,come home quick shower and off to the airport.fall asleep all the way to turkey,then enjoy the scenery all the way to icmeler.

Our flight is at 8.30pm on a Monday, so will get there at silly o clock, that day is gonna be agony waiting all day for a flight, it will be worth it though. The good thing is I work Monday to Friday, so I get the weekend off before hand

We like night flights from Transylvania Airport
