we flew with Onur in June and it was a 20Kg allowance.
Just weighed my case there and it's at 21.3kg - and that was me packing minimal! think it's the weight of having to put all your toiletries in your case instead of your hand luggage :?

Just to clarify it is 20kg each person with the maximum weight a case can be in 30kgs (this is a health and safety thing because the cases have to be lifted). So if there are 4 of you that is 80kg between you. If you go over the 80kgs then you may get charged. I am 99% this is correct.

Our combined weight this year was 72kg one case was 27kg and one was 24, cant remember the rest but we had 5 altogether and 5 people traveled. Di. 8)

Is it up to the check in person if they are going to charge or not?? Its just that we flew Freebird in July and when we checked in in Glasgow my sisters case was 33kg  I couldnt beleive it!!! Anyway the girl told her to take 1kg out and then let the case go through and didnt charge her a penny  At Dalaman on the way back (she had left a lot of stuff in Icmeler thank god!!) there was a mix up with our check in and they didnt even bother checking the weight  I think that she was just really really lucky. :)

They are still doing food. We had 2 chicken nugget style things (they tasted like sausage) and rice with a bread roll and cake, you get a free cold drink and a tea/coffee. The same on the way back but with pasta. Son has a veggie meal of pasta with roll and jam and fruit salad, wish I had had that. Di.

Thanks for that Diane at I know my men won't be starving, it doesn't bother me as its only 4 hours and used to eating at the works canteen anyway.
