we are returning to the capt silver in 4 weeks ,we stayed there in september last year for two weeks.it is an ideal location right at the base of the mountains.the grounds are superb with beds and tables under the trees for shade.the pool is not the biggest but ideal for the size.the rooms were ideal and the cleaning first class.the pool side bar was friendly and gave you a chance to meet other people there.
the location is just two minutes to the main street coming out just below wonder boys and opposite the two sisters restraunt.turn right to the beach 5 minutes max.

in previous years the owner had bad comments, but we found her to be ok and freindly and giving a bbq for the guest who were left after we went home late september.
an ideal base, clean tidy lovely reception area and no hassle to stay and eat in the complex that you get at some apartments.
you will enjoy it,we had stayed at the palm gardens twice before which was new,but this summer we will return to capt.silver

We're staying at The Captain Silver Apartments, August 18th for 17 nights. It will be our 12th time to Icmeler, but the first time staying here. We've used the pool a couple of times, so we know the location is great. We just hope that there are some children staying for our son to play with, he will be 7 years old whilst he's on holiday. See you all then :D :)

We are flying with Onur Air for the first time too.

A friend told us that they are ok, apart from no entertainment on the flight such as movies and radio which i am not bothered about.

It's the first time we have booked with Icmeler Online and i must say their service up to now has been spot on.

As for the price of a pint of Efes, who cares. :D

We have used different airlines over the last few years and had the choice to book meals on the plane or not, and to be honest we have always gave them a miss as they are more hassle than they are worth.

I wont be having the free soft drinks either.

Never flown with Onur before , but we are travelling with them this year , you have to get there somehow - I'm sure they will be fine.

Last time I was in Icmeler , a pint of efes was 31.20 - hope its not fone up too much!

Just got back from 10 days at the Captain Silver last night, Suffice to say, You wont be disappointed, They were fab ! The pool and Garden are great with Tortoises wandering around and visits from the mountain Goats later in the afternoon.
For us it was ideally placed with the centre very close yet in a very peaceful location (peaceful except for the Mirage aparts next door who seemed to like some drum and base over breakfast, not a big bother though)
If you need specific answers let me know, I'll try and answer.

Cheers

Are there plenty sun loungers to go round mate? We are going in August so i expect it will be a lot busier then, and it's a right pain getting up early to grab a lounger.

We stayed at the Mirage a couple of years ago and remember the music blasting all day around the pool area.

Dave

I would think the loungers around the pool may get a tight when the apts are filling up but there is plenty of room and other loungers in the Garden. I'm sure you won't find a problem finding somewhere to get some rays.

All I can say is I wish I was going back with you.

Cheers
