Just been looking at seat availability (cant book anything till get paid on Wednesday) but our next plan is to book 1 legroom seat and 2 normal behind it and then swap seats during flight, daughter doesn want to sit on her own next to a stranger. However you cant book middle seat and aisle seat and leave a window one empty so it says i never knew that.

I have just returned from
Icmeler and flew to
Dalaman from Edinburgh with Monarch Airlines which I booked via Thomsons. Best flight ever - great leg room and my husband who usually has difficulties as he has mobility difficulties had no problems at all. Food was also very good. I will be flying with them again. I have also flown with Globespan and this was even better.

dont you think its the plane itself and not always the actual airline, I have flew with Tc before and had a lovely flight going out and nice brand new leather seats and lots of legroom and then flew back with TC and its been a nightmare. We had our best flight last year booked through
ICR with Onur Air Lines, it was so comfortable and plenty of room, coming back wasnt so great though

Have to say I think first choice is the best of a bad bunch

Hi, everybody,
We generally fly from Doncaster, me 5ft6ins, wife 5ft, and suffer with TC and Thommo. But last year we found a short notice extra week in June from Leeds although our September 3 weeks was already booked. Flight was with Jet2, great flight time (10.00am) 22 kg luggage included, and we were offerred and grabbed extra legroom seats at the airport for £20 each. These were 42 inch legroom business class seats, the whole front section of the plane, a Boeing 757. Absolutely brilliant flight, and they have trained the cabin crew to smile at you! I would happily go with them again.

At 6'4" they are all rubbish and to top it off there is nothing worst than walking past the legroom seats and seeing somebody at 5'2" sat in a legroom seat with a smug smile on there faces, but all the legroom you want in the bars in
icmeler so its prob worth it

I have also noticed that it tends to be the shorter people who insist on reclining there seats where the taller ones understand the inconvience of doing so on a camped charter plane and don't recline their's.

total pet hate of mine!!!

I remember on a flight back from florida we had booked premium seats so there was extra legroom any way,a women sat in front of me decided to recline her seat, now i know she has paid for the right to do so but a little courtesy goes a long way,so while she was trying to sleep virtually in my lap with her seat resting on my knees i continually kept pushing my knees into the back of her seat and releasing it so she would wake, yes i agree petty but i am a big bloke and need to keep my dodgy knees moving, you would think that would have done the trick, like bugger it did she just kept on trying to sleep for the whole flight, lol sorry for ranting on,4 days and counting woohoo

I am not exactly tall I wouldn't say but I am 5'7" and the aisle seats are just impossible for me; can never relax as my knees always take a beating from the trolleys going up and down every 10mins!
Middle seat isn't much better as I have to sit with my legs apart so I'm not kneeing the person infront in the back

what a polava. I find the window seat perfect though as I just sit slightly turned to the side

try eating garlic the night before the flight then breath on them

I'd sneeze and say "oh no i hope this isnt that darn swine flu again"... you'd soon have loads of room around you
21 Jun 2010 23:25
Ive flown with lots of airlines and been cramped.Came back a couple of days ago and have no complaints with onurair at all,Manchester to
Dalaman and back, plenty of room between my seat and the one in front,I could actually lean forward and pick something up off the floor, maybe its just me but even the seats felt wider than most.
