Hi Dawn/Rob, the babadan is a good place to stay. My self and the wife have stayed there five times, never had a bad time. The owners name Duran, is wife is english, her name is Julia and if you need help in any way she will always help out. The apartments number 64 yet it has two large pools and a childrens pool, the one at the front is the busy one and the one round the side is usally used by aldults. The food is of good quilty and turkish nights are good fun and staff are a good group of lads. The Babadan is only a short walk to the centre of town yet far enough away to leave the music behind, some times (with good company) we have stayed at the bar till 5.00 am.
On belts they usally start at £1 in the Wednesday market up to around £5, but be aware so stalls state £1 at the front yet thats to get you in, the one you chose will cost more. On bags, if you want cheap it's back to the Wednesday market 3 or 4 for a tenner. Dawn if you want good quilty bags which can start at £50 and go up, there are some very good bag shops in the town, but look around and do your homework and you will get the bag you wish for. Finally clothes, Rob may find something he likes but theres not a lot of choice for you, personally buy in UK - prmark, mataland etc. Finaly, we fly next friday and maybe we might meet up.

no not this year, we are up in the old village at orenhill apartments. The reason being a lad named Tyson, he used to work behind the bar at the Babadan and now works at orenhill. We will still come down to the babadan for a swim and drick with the lads some evenings. Just remember this, if it's your first time in Icmeler it wont be your last. Go and enjoy your self.
