Cant go

I had just booked at beginning of the week for two weeks in Icmeler in August.
Now I have been advised by my doctor not to go as I may need surgery on a prolapsed disc in my back.
Not all bad news as travel agents are letting me re book for next year but still pretty gutted.
Hope everyone who has still to go has a great time and i will be counting down for next year.

sorry to hear your news - you must be devastated. good news about being able to reschedule for next year though - would have been a double blow is you had lost the money as well.

next year will be here before you know it - you'll just have to keep reading the forum for all the Icmeler gossip to see you through!

Aww, sorry to hear that, but obviously your health has to come first. At least you'll be able to look forward to next year, and in the meantime, you can always come on here and get your "icmeler fix" like the rest of us. Hope everything goes well for you with the op, and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Hi Niamhsgran, i am day 9 after haing my prolapsed disc removed last week so know what you feel like. I feel lucky that i am still able to go to Icmeler, but would not have missed the op for the holiday. Good luck

Sorry to hear you cant go this year, but at least nothing was lost by being able to re-schedule.

Hopefully the op will come along soon and you will feel as good as new. Health is more important in the long run.

Icmeler is well worth waiting for. It will soon come around.

Hi Niamhsgran, I know exactly how you feel as I was meant to fly out this Saturday 12th , but I saw a surgeon 3 weeks ago and he says I could not fly as I have a blocked artery in my leg. I now have to go for by-pass surgery on Tuesday so hopefully I will be able to get to Icmeler later in the year. Hope everything works out ok for you.
