This happened last year to us when we had booked the Effes inn Hotel, We fought with the travel company (goldtrail ) and decided on the Miray Hotel . I must say it was lovely so stick to your own choice of accommodation (must be the same star rating or be prepared to pay extra) on where you want to go too.
Do loads of research on the internet and read reviews before deciding.
Good Luck

Definitely dont accept where you dont want to go. Have a look on Holiday Truths complaints section if not already.

Check the terms and conditions of your booking, assuming its a proper package not a dynamic package (they wriggle out of things too easily with those).

If they're offering Melita ,as john said in a previous thread I assume its a TUI / Thomson that the hotel was booked via so see what other hotels they have in Icmeler. You would want the same board basis as the Elif originally was.

It might also be worth seeing about keeping the flight element and see what availability there is via ICR, Chateu De Ville looking very nice.

Hope you get it sorted, i'd be stomping mad.

i would do as other people have said
and phone ICR and have a look at their hotels and apartments on their website
see which ones you fancy and give them a phone or email to see which ones are available for your dates
i would book your accommidation through them as they are a reliable company

To tell you the truth I have had quite a few calls over Efes Inn bookings, and this particular agency seems to be offering just the Melita apartments, and no other options.

If you booked a hotel B+B I would expect to be moved to something of similar quality, or as in ICR bookings we will almost 100% upgrade our customers.

George and Margo where a victim of Efes Inn booked through ourselves, and to say that they were happy with the change in accommodation is an understatement, go and read their holiday review.

I have given advice to every person who has rang concerning this topic, and most of them have decided to keep the flights with the original booking and have chosen accommodation with ICR, others have accepted Melita apartments.

I think I spoke to you yesterday about your options, and I am just a phone call away if you need any further advice, I am here to help.

hi dani - there's a great website that offers alternatives to 0870 etc numbers which some TOs offer [like low cost holidays]
Just google "saynoto0870" and put in the aftersales number for low cost hols ie 0870 2211696 - there's a range of numbers on there and hopefully you'll be able to reach someone. 01342 305644 is one of the numbers and there's also a free phone number listed 0800 1116280

It's worked for me a few times so I hope you have some success - shame that not all TOs are as enlightened as ICR in offering an 01 number

Admin - hope you don't mind me putting the numbers on, please feel free to remove them if you do mind and apols

I am really sorry to hear about this all i can say is give ICR a ring we were let down at club sun village despite booking last May with ICR, the help they have given is second to none and have booked us into the Majestic into 2 apartments as we need a 2bed room and none are available at this late stage I cant reccommend them enough and all I can say is these greedy hoteliers will regret their greed at some point when no reputable company will deal with them
Have a great holiday wherever you go hope you get this sorted
