Best Turkish Restaurant

Postby sophia » 03 Jun 2010 09:06

Right, this year I want to try an authentic turkish restaurant one night.

People are always mentioning on here various good ones such as Lal and Cafe Rose but which one is the best one to try please (in terms of food & atmopshere)?

I would try a few but don't think my friend will want to and as were young we will want to eat in lively places most night but definately intend to try a traditional turkish restaurant one night.

Your help would be much appreciated.

It used to be the Meyzen, if that's any help.

And I can only agree with admin, it really is worth a visit. Beautiful atmosphere and setting, the food is absolutely gorgeous and we found it very reasonable compared with many others places, price-wise. Everything about it was spot on - we ate there twice last week and will definitely be back. Couldn't fault the place - the staff were also very friendly and helpful as well, and the live Turkish music (singer-musician) was the icing on the cake. Beautiful... :)

Do try - you won't be disappointed.

Located the new Turkish Restaurant, Lal ,almost opposite the Babadan Apartments only another 50 yards or so into the Village. The restaurant is set up very nicely and the menu also so.
Unfortunately only 14 nights in a fortnight meant we did not get to go there but it is on our must visit list for September.
