set meals

Postby AnnieT » 21 May 2010 19:43

Me and my hubby are coming to Icmeler on the 14th June for 2 weeks, our son and his 5 year old daughter are joining us for the first week, as we will be feeding them, I would like to know any decent restaurants which do a set meal at a reasonable price,

You will be spoilt for choice really, I wont name individual restaurants, as there are so many to choose from, but there are many brilliant restaurants in Icmeler. Just have a look around, and dont forget to haggle a little too, you may get some free drinks into the bargain :D

Loads of places do the set menus, Annie - one which is very reasonably priced and does lovely food is the Holiday. Not sure if you know where it is, but from the Florida, walk along as if you were heading towards the market direction and take the first left. The Holiday is up that road on the left hand side, before you come to the Selen 2 Hotel.

Annie,I would definitely recommend the set meal at Vince's restaurant as it was very good quality. Blondie - I don't think I've noticed the Holiday restaurant before although i know where the Selen is. Is it fairly new and what kind of food do they do ?

If you like Chinese, the Kingsland also do a few different set menu's.

The Holiday's not new - we've been going there for a few years now - if you know where the Dursun apartments are, it's just up the road from them, on the same side. They do all kinds of food from the usual chicken, steak, etc to kebabs and so on. Oh, and Mehmet "the pancake man" makes the best pancakes in Icmeler! The staff are really nice and helpful too.

Another very reasonably priced place is the Karadeniz Pide, just straight up from the Wayside to the top of the road and turn left. You cant miss it. Not sure if they do set meals as such, but the prices are great.

Thanks blondie, I will look out for it and maybe try it. The thing is being spoiled for choice and by the time we've been to all our favourites we seem to have run out of time. :D
