Icmeler to Akyaka

Postby sarahxxx » 16 May 2010 16:06

Hi, this is my first post

Am staying at Marmaris Park, Icmeler in June and want to visit Akyaka beach, Gokova. I would appreciate any advice you can offer regarding this beach and the best mode of transport to from and how accessible it is from where I am staying.

Thanks in advance

hi sarah last year nine of us went from icmeler to akyaka for the day, cost us about £60 to hire the mini bus we got there about ten am then he came and collected us about five pm.... its stunningly beautiful, have a fish lunch on the river boats ,very low priced food and scrummy, out of this world ,no chips in site, just salad and there super bread, also no english spoken. the water and the beach is so different to icmeler{proper sand] a few bars along the front but not many.have tried to book ,but its not worked out with our crowd this year, but we are going again in may ,& will have a day.to be recommended & not missed. let me know when you return.. i bet you,ll love it.BILL

Hi there
We also fancy Akyaka for day and there's 4 adults and 2 kids so were going to try and make our own way there so if possible could you please pm details of minibus service you used as it might work out cheaper for us.
Thanks Josim
