Hi Nick, I would definately recommend a turkish bath. You need to have one at the beginning of your holiday though because it gets rid of all the dead skin. If you go when you have got a tan it tends to rub off. You wear shorts or trunks, and ladies a cozzie or bikini.
If you google hamam or turkish bath there are better results on there than I can explain.

Hi

We booked turkish bath through ICR and one we went to was just around corner from their office, def a good thing to do at start of holiday. like you we did not know what to expect. Tell the Mrs not to worry you wear swimwear, and you will be scrubbed at same time so you are not on your own. Skin feels great after it too and seems to help accelarate the sun tan. Enjoy.

When you go in just ask them what they intend to do and if there is anything that you dont fancy just ask them not to do it. eg My wife hates anyone touching her feet (me included ) so she tells them that and they dont.

Enjoy.

Could anyone tell me if there are any places with women-only sessions or female masseuses? I've seen enough Gynaecologists over the years not to be bothered who sees what but my partner is not keen on being massaged by a man.

It's our first trip to Icmeler. We went to Kusadasi last year but were too lazy to find out about the Turkish baths there until it was too late and would like to try the baths this time.

Many thanks.

Might be a strange question but how much does a Turkish Bath cost? Is it the same all round price or does it vary from place to place?

Thanks for the Link reesy1959 , I didnt use ICR to book my holiday ( unfortunately) so didnt realise how good a website this was- there is an amazing amount on excursions that they do I am spoilt for choice, do these have to be book before you go or is there somewhere when we are there that we can book them?

you can wait until you are in the resort and go to the ICR office and book them. The office is in the main square where the cash machines are

Thanks tamii, we have never been to Icmeler before but I am sure once we are there we will have no problem finding the ICR office. We would rather book them through a well known company when we are there than one we have never heard of. Thanks again

The ICR office is upstairs, so if you're in the main square where the ATM machines are, you'll see the new Tandoori Sizzler restaurant. Walk up the road at the side, and there are stairs which go up just before you get to the Scotia Bar, and these take you to the ICR office.

Hi all,

I'm writing from Icmeler now. Life is great. I had the turkish bath yesterday as weather was cloudy and as I have no reason to sunbath thought it be a good idea to do it then.

It was excellent. I had a great time and felt so relaxed afterwards. today weather is back to being very good with highs of 30 and sun blasting down.

I will post pics later as they are too big now to fit on here at the min and going to take some time.

Anyway free lager and then sun is calling me.
