Are there internet cafe's in Icmeler?

Postby Hector » 21 Mar 2010 11:59

Yes, I'm sad. I like to check my emails while on holiday.
Are there internet cafes in Icmeler?
Our hotel (Efes) may have internet but I find hotels often charge silly rates.

There are dozens of bars with free internet and you can use their PC, Aysima right below the ICR camera has 3 pc's you can use.

Apart from using the free internet access available in the many bars or restaurants, I'm sure there is an internet cafe-type of place near the underground market. Maybe someone else will know more?

That one isn't there anymore, I used the computers in Aysima last year. There are loads of restaurants and bars that offer free internet access. We also used Zazas laptop at Havanna Bar last year.

I like to go on holiday to get away from all that, just a text to my family to let them know I have reached safely and leave the rest of technology and the rat race well alone!
I go past bars and see kids on the PC's doing games etc and is a shame-there is so much to do,see and enjoy in Icmeler. I even saw one Mum spoonfeeding her child at breakfast whilst he was busy with both hands operating the game with his eyes glues to the screen! Am I the only one who feels this way?

No, harleybabe, I understand what you are saying, and wouldn't want my children playing games on the pc when they're on holiday, but I can also understand that there are occasions where people might need internet access, for instance to check emails. My husband runs his own business and we do check our emails a couple of times while we're on holiday just in case there's anything urgent which needs attended to. I certainly wouldn't spend any more time doing it than I could help though - Icmeler has far to much to offer to waste my precious holiday time!

Thanks for the information. I'm bound to find somewhere.

I agree there are better things to do on holiday than check emails. But then, I see people sitting indoors on holiday watching sport. I can't see the point of that.

And before this turns into a heated debate, which I am far too ill to referee, and seeing the question has been answered I shall lock it now.

Thanks for all your input
