The only thing I would say is that the heat may be unbearable for her. Even in the shade it is very hot.

Hi

As Annemc says it can be very hot in August with temps up in the high forty's
I would get her to check with her GP if they say she is ok to go then everything should be fine

When you get a checkup with your GP make sure you get a letter that you are OK to fly, also only get this a couple of days before you travel.

Last year a couple at our hotel flew to Istanbul for a few days from Dalaman, flight to Istanbul was OK but flight back they were informed the letter was too old and they had to go to the hospital to obtain a new letter which they had to pay for.

Also, a lot of insurance companies will not insure past 30 weeks, i used post office insurance they cover to 34 weeks i think( or did 5 years ago). I went in August and was fine but then i like the heat anyway. Good luck and enjoy, unless your daughter is having problems i would say go for it but also bear in mind you catch the sun more whilst pregnant :D

Hi I went to Icmeler in july/august 2000 when I was 5 months pregnant got a letter from my doctor to say I was able to fly
It was hot and but the only problem I encountered was that my feet and ankles swelled up with fluid a few times during the holiday but i just put them in a dish of ice water at night and it helped . Apart from that and a little tiredness which can be overcome withan afternoon nap I was fine and really enjoyed myself the waiters looked after me gave me an extra cushion on my chair I ate well and swam in the sea . nothing to worry about at all

When I come to think about it my mother was with me on that holiday and her ankles and feet also swelled up too so maybe it was nothing to do with being pregnant shel"ll be fine

Be careful at Dalaman airport coming back, my wife was 28 weeks and had all the correct letters from the doctor, however the check in girl noticed she was pregnant and told us we would have to go to the medical centre for a check up. The girl proceeded to check her blood pressure and said she was fine and gave us a certificate to fly, unfortunately we had to pay £70 for the privelege otherwise we were going knowhere.
