hi buesky

The Dilhan is really handy for the beach, it's just a few minutes walk - or put another way, if you got a taxi or dolmus you wouldn't have time to sit down before you got there!

Whereas the canal is a bit further away - say 5 mins tops strolling to get there. Given the walking probs you mention, it may be as well to take a taxi. It wouldn't cost much, but whatever you do, make sure they put the meter on!! we've had a few bad experiences last year with them trying to take the mick and charging weyyyyy over the odds if they think they can get away with it

The dolmus station [or rather turning point] is just a few yards further on from the beach when you are coming from the Dilhan, but they run on the main road just at the bottom of the side road where the Dilhan is - just stick your hand out!!

You may well find that of an evening, the bar/restaurant owner will offer to give you a lift home and also to pick you up from the Dilhan if you fancy returning to the bar/restaurant another day - we've certainly found that to be the case in the Venice and Majestic on the canal and also at the Deniz Karaoke bar on the beach

Ozzy behind the bar at the DIlhan will make sure you are sorted, so I'd suggest asking him when you get there - he may even ring the restaurant of your choice and arrange for them to transport you to/from the Dilhan for your night out

Hope this helps

am sure you'll have a great time buesky, September's a lovely time to visit - not as hot or as busy as the height of the season
