None of us speak a word of Turkish. Will this be a problem in Icmeler & Marmaris?

Is there a list of useful words anywhere?

Won't be a problem whatsoever - almost everyone speaks very good English indeed, although they love it if you at least attempt a few words in Turkish. I'm sure there was a thread on here at some point with some useful words - merhaba means hello, and even that goes down well with folk! I'm sure someone else might be able to point you in the direction of some other helpful words - Turkish is quite a hard language to learn, but a few simple words are very much appreciated, even if they might have fun at your attempts with pronunciation! It all helps to break the ice...

no worries turkish people speak better english than most of us i,m from wigan with a very broad wigan dialect been going for years never havea problem when i leave i always leave a bit of wigan culture
