L'etoile hotel

19 Jan 2010 16:38

hi everybody

last time i was in icmeler was 4 years ago and by the reading of things it will be unrecognisable to us - we are booked for the rainy season at the begining of october for 2 weeks.

Are most places still open?

When you return to Icmeler in October any changes that you will become aware of since four years ago will be all good ones. You will also enjoy the weather as at that time of the year it is very nice......enjoy

yeah all the places are still open but towards the end of october you will notice some places starting to shut down
the weather can be a hit or miss but you still get some really hot days but the nights can be cooler
im sure you will enjoy your holiday even though you will notice a lot of changes

We go every year for three weeks in October and usually have some really good weather, some days it rains but usually not for long and it dries up just as quick. We haven't had any problems with places closing down, the better ones, as far as we are concerned, stay open until the end of October. Enjoy your holiday, maybe we will see you there. :D :D :D

I always go in October. Yes, there can be the odd rainstorm but it usually passes quickly and it's still warm enough to sunbathe without being scarily hot, as it can be mid-season. If you're going to the L'Etoile I'm sure you'll be happy enough even if the rain keeps you inside.

Susie...shame on you. To quote you...'I'm sure you'll be happy enought if the rain keeps you in'! Get out in the rain girl...it's warm and you won't shrink. We stay at the L'Etoile, but come rain or shine, we are never there except for bedtime! The manager asked us if we didn't like his hotel one year...bless him

Ooh - being from the West of Scotland, rain holds no fears for me! Mind you, I get rain for the rest of the year so on holiday I always stay indoors when it's wet. In the cafes. In the hamaam. In the bazaar. In Tony's jewellery (it being REALLY handy for the hotel) ... ... just can't get my head around the idea of WARM rain LOL
