A ex work mate living in marmaris informed me prices in Turkey going up food cigs up by 60 pence for 20 efes up 1lr will have to take a bit more .We hope lr exchange goes up .we remember spain greece doing same with prices not so many people going there dont spoil a exelent holiday Turkey goverment.still be there may sep bfn

Still not a bad increase. I am sure the prices will still be good value for money compared to countries that have the Euro.

mate living in icmeler said no increase in beer most places

hope there is no increase but even if there is icmeler is still much better value than all those european countries using the euro like Spain and Italy

The manager of our apartments told me last year that he had not raised the price of beer at the bar for 7 years :o
I will be disappointed if it has gone up, but at the same time I will understand.

They could double the prices I would still go to Icmeler every year. :D Might even help my diet not eating and drinking soooooo much :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Imported wine will be cheaper,they have abolished the tax,so maybe more choice this season.

Cost of living going up again.

Arthur you will have to allocate a bit more from your fuel allowance to cover these essentials as I can't see Gordon Brown helping us out or instruct OZ to slow down on the service .........John.
