Icmeler Refurb

Postby Cummo » 07 Jan 2010 15:43

Hi All

What's the latest on the building works.... Any new photo's of what's happening would be great.
We are now used to the idea that there will be changes and are itching to get out there and have a nosey around. Not too long to wait July 2nd for us. Anybody else staying at Ozlem 1 in July?

John (No. 7 in the photo comp. Only 2 votes and one of them was mine!!! LOL)

Picked this up off youtube.
It looks like Linakers on the beach front has been demolished?
Spent many a lunch time here last year and there was talk of building an upstairs eating and drinking area with magnificent views.

looks like they have fairly demolished a lot of the well known place in icmeler
just hope they decide to re-build most of them before the season starts

Yes, thanks for that, Gene - gives you a good idea of what is going on. Icmeler is going to look a bit different on our next visit - let's hope it's change for the better, eh?

Thanks Gene, If places are not rebuilt on there old locations, I would think that the better run and popular establishments will move on to new ground as there is plenty of spare capacity in Icmeler. It will be interesting going around finding who is where....

Walkıng around resort after our xmas vısıt to the UK and theres very very very lıttle dıfferent. For those expectıng bıg changes you wont see many, nothıng partıcularly dıfferent to any other wınter (ın my opınıon!) theres always a few places closıng and new ones openıng. The bars that have closed are a tıny percentage of the total.
