Towel Art!

Does anyone else have a daft husband like mine? Whenever we go on holiday, he has always admired the towel art that the maids have created for us. In may he was on holiday from his work and as I wasn't, he was obviously bored. I came home from work one day and he was all excited, telling me to go and look in our bedroom. Now you can all imagine where my thoughts were going and reluctantly went upstairs. Hubby pushed open the bedroom door saying "ta da" and there on our bed was two towel swans shaped like a loveheart. I couldn't stop laughing! He was all chuffed that he had made these (although I was looking for a turkish maid behind the door). Turns out he was that bored he googled towel art and followed the instructions (he could have decorated the front hall instead so couldn't have been that bored). Now this is his party piece and he makes towel art to show friends and family. His parent's are coming over from Spain next week for christmas and he's going to make it for them as they are about the only ones he hasn't made any for! He also said that next year he's going to make them for the maids for a change, don't know what they'll think of him though. I suppose he could have a worse hobby, and his creations give us all a laugh, although they are perfected now. If anyone is interested I could hire him out for a nominal fee. He would accept his fee's in effes!

Aww bless him, thats so nice to surprise you like that. Did he get some fresh petals too?

No I didn't get the petals, but he's asked me to get flowers for when his mum comes so she will get them. I think that's favouritism! At least she won't get the Icmeler sun though like I do.

If I see any towel art on a sunbed anywhere next year in Icmeler I will know whose it is!
