Whilst staying at Baba Tuncay this year we had one hell of a good time ( rest , relax, part of the family from the staff ), this was true.
It is also true that the staff from Baba Tuncay will drive you to any part of Icmeler you wish ( For the same price as the dolmus -), you only have to ask ,and they will give you door to door service if they are not to busy.
One night we had been at Stella show then went next door to open the box at ( DENZIZ KAPAZI ) (spelling).,....
It was getting on 1AM and we got a taxi and asked him to stop at a ATM ,for taxi money and some money for water.
No problems ....the taxi man done his job....The only prob was me
I took 200 euro ( 4x50 ) when I should have took 200 Lira ( 4x50 ) from he ATM....................SO when the taxi driver dropped us off at th Baba Tuncay I gave him 50 Euro when I thought it was 50 Lira 
He gave me change for 50 Lira also ,.Then in the morning when I went for bread and water I gave the lady 50 Euro and she gave me nearly 90 Lira back
I said thats to much I only gave you 50Lira ,Then she showed me
The 50 euro look the same as the 50Lira,So that would meen that the Taxi driver got 50 Euro and I only got 40 Lira change
I told Sabahattin (our host ) about this and the first thing he done was to get on the phone to the taxi firm (marmaris taxis ) and ask who it was that dropped off the Scotish family last night at the Baba Tuncay,
Within 40-50 mins we had the same driver from the night before at the Baba tuncay apartments sorting out the MISUNDERSTANDING
££££££.Nothing was to much for the Tuncay family , Sabahattin Akdeniz and his family treated us as" YOU ARE OUR GUESTS", we loved it all,
My 6yr old boy even got a wee click from "BABA TUNCAY " the neice of Tango at the Rhodes Aparts, She was a bonny wee lassie ( dark eyes and a rich family
). So at the end of it all I think we would like to say ..THANK YOU,.. Sabahattin and the Tuncay family,
And say to all the other people thinking of giving the old village area a try next year....JUST DO IT> ... You will love it.
