Thanks for that tamii.Checked it out and looks like the Prestij,,not Prestige. The latter gets some really bad press! The Prestij looks quite good.
Thanks again, might have made a big mistake.

Yes they are.

They changed the name slightly on some agencies websites as the old owners I believe let the place run down.

There is a complex of apartments that were built the past few years in the village and they were called prestige development I think and they were each solf off privately to UK buyers mostly and most of them advertise their apartments on I think villa websites

hi bob,

the prestij aparts are fine, nothing fancy, but for the price you pay they're ok. we stayed there september 08 and enjoyed our time there. decent pool, rooms clean and they did a very good english breakfast. claire who worked on reception was very pleasant and helpful. the stairs in the apartments are really quite steep so may not suit young children or elderly people with mobility problems. I notice some people are saying they are next to tansas but they're actually a 5-10 minute walk up by tansas and past the school, but still close enough to stroll into the centre.

Prestige, on the other hand, are what looked like private villas (very posh looking). Our transfer actually dropped us there by mistake (and it was ICR too :o ) but I realised we were at the wrong place and managed to stop him before he drove away.

Thanks to everyone for your replies, very helpfull.
I think the "Prestij"could be a good option for next year.Stayed at the Villamar this June, but rooms were a little small, even for wife and me.
Dont think the Prestij looks too far out from the beach or the town.

they are nowt fancy but but the appartments are clean and fresh the staff are very freindly and are always willing to help, the breakfasts are very good, the owner has a boat that weve been on a few times he has a lazy day cruise that can be very entertaining.
the pool at the appartments can get busy and you`ll always get the odd miserable sod that moans when they get splashed when the kids are playing in there.
we walk to the beach from the appartments it takes about 20-25 minutes at a lesurley stroll a taxi will cost 8-10 lira.
weve stayed at the appartments for the last two years and we will book again for 2010
