Turkish Central Bank

Postby Glen » 29 Sep 2009 14:09

Hi,
I have a quantity of New Turkish Lira notes which will be going out of circulation on 31st December. I have checked on the Central Bank website and according to that I will be ok to exchange them in any of their branches next year. Is there a branch in Icmeler or will I need to go to Marmaris as i know that there is a branch there ? Many thanks.

Regards

Hi again, just had a look at a website that states there are 21 branches nationwide and Marmaris is not mentioned either. Maybe someone else can clarify...

Hi,
I have the names of 2 banks off the website : TC Merkez Bankasi and TC Ziraat Bankasi, There are a couple of large banks on the road parallel to the prom in Marmaris and I could be wrong (I think it happened once a few years back!!) but I thought I had seen these names. I stand to be corrected if anyone knows for sure ! Cheers
